SAPPS Chapter 695

As the starship sailed onward, everyone had a rare opportunity to rest. They didn’t have to worry about the competition or training, so the military academy students mostly stayed in their rooms to rest.

However, Wei San did not rest.

Ever since her dual cultivation as a soldier and an engineer was fully exposed at the rainforest arena, neither Xiang Minghua nor Jie Yuman, nor anyone from the other military regions, has come to inquire about her situation, as if they have collectively forgotten about it.

According to Jin Ke, they were too shocked to accept it for a while, so they had to pretend to be normal, since these people knew Wei San’s true perception level.

However, the mecha engineers on the school team were unaware that Wei San was a Super 3S level, and Wei San had already shown some signs of this in the extreme cold competition. When they found out, their only reaction was, “so that’s how it is.”

So once aboard the starship, many people, out of curiosity, sought out Wei San to ask her questions.

Wei San was bored and had too many people to ask, so she simply gathered all the mecha engineers, along with Ying Chenghe, and started a Q&A session.

The conference room table was used as an exhibition stand, where the mecha engineers displayed the parts they designed and built, and asked questions.

These mech engineers are all A-level mecha engineers, and the problems they study are naturally A-level mechas. It just so happens that Wei San has the most practical experience with this level of mechas.

Back in the Underground factory, Wei San tried every means to install the materials she had scavenged on the arena onto her mecha. She encountered all sorts of problems. In order to stabilize many strange and unusual structures, she went through all sorts of random books in the library.

With so many mecha engineers sharing their strange ideas, Wei San could offer advice on most of them. There were a few questions she didn’t quite understand, but Ying Chenghe, who had a more basic and comprehensive understanding of 3S-class mechas, could answer them.

This is not just a process of two high-level mecha pilots instructing low-level mecha pilots; it is more like an exchange between them. Wei San and Ying Chenghe can also learn a lot from these A-level mecha pilots.

“Wei San, did you learn all of this on your own?” the mecha engineer of the General soldier’s team asked her as they were about to disband.

“I probably learned some of it in my past life.” Wei San said in a rambling manner, then said to him, “You’re not bad either. You’re so young, and some of your design ideas are quite outstanding.”

The mecha engineer in the general’s team almost burst into tears. Others were self-taught, while he had studied hard for many years and was still in this terrible state.

But is he really that good?

Once he arrives at the White Dwarf Star training ground, he’ll practice with the team’s mechas.

The mecha engineers in the conference room gradually left. Wei San sat at the conference table, took out a notebook and pen from her pocket, and began to write and draw on it.

“The structure that the mecha engineer from the General soldier’s team just mentioned, which uses the engine of an A-level mecha on a B-level mecha, can improve the mobility of the B-level mecha by 20%,” Wei San said to Ying Chenghe beside her as she wrote. “I think it’s feasible. With further improvements, it should be able to improve even more.”

“While this structure is good once perfected, it’s only suitable for mechas below level A. These mechas originally only relied on perception and control for half of their operation; level S and above mechas have much higher requirements for perception.” Ying Chenghe felt this wasn’t very meaningful to them.

“This is a trend,” Wei San said, looking up. “Hasn’t Master Yu already figured it out?”

Speaking of this, Ying Chenghe’s eyes lit up: “After we join, will they tell us how to modify the mechas?”
